Mission for the day: get out and get shooting!

Mission status: Failed.

My friend Nora, who writes for the school paper, and myself, who worked as a photographer for a week (embarrassing, I know…), have been throwing around the idea of starting a streetstyle blog for Oklahoma. She’ll do the writing, I’ll do the photographing. Today was going to be our first day of exploration. We prepared with breakfast at a local coffee shop, then at 11 am took to the streets of Oklahoma City. I don’t know how this city can be so barren on a Saturday at lunch time. Needless to say, we didn’t get one shot. I like to put a positive spin on our time and consider the hour of walking my exercise for the day. Hopefully the next time we go out we’ll find some people… preferably stylish!

If I could live in one outfit forever, it might be this one. I wear these Cheap Monday jeans as often as socially acceptable (that’s a few times a week.. right?). They feel how I would assume Pajama jeans feel and make my legs look even more like those of a chicken. I like the subtle denim-on-denim with the shirt, and the shoes are comfy as can be.
